A conversation between the rider and the unknown man continued. The tongue was different, so no one in Hashmaim could understand what the rider said even if they could hear him. The words were interpreted as "You said she was dead, how come she still breathes, you were meant to take her soul. You have disappointed us all, and now you must fix this mess."
"Huuuuuuh," Asher tried catching his breath and recover from fear that almost took him away to the other world when he realized it was his cat. Asher knew what he was trying to do could end his life if proper care is not taken, so he decided to stop, and that was when the rider realized someone was observing.
The rider told the person he was speaking with that they are not alone. The rider made moves and sensed something was wrong around Asher's window, so he moves towards the window to eliminate whosoever was intruding. The rider brought out an ancient blade called Sanofi. It is a blade that kills any victim just by touching the blood. Recovering from any cut it inflicts is not something easy. Only the Lilithians have the power to cure such a person. With the blade pointed, the rider approached the window, raised it, and pierced through his victim like he was piercing an animal.
"Here we are at the white metallic tower." Welcome, Nacca!
I don't need to ask what brings you to our kingdom as I could see it in your face when you made your entry into this place. Aryan recognized the voice immediately. It was the same voice he heard some distance away from the white metallic tower. The queen of Lilithian, queen Reene. The fairest of them all, a fantastic beauty to behold. She speaks the original language; her dark skin shines than a bar of bright gold.
"Follow us," lord Carvalla told them.
The liquid from the rider's victim splashed out as the blade pierced through. He must have ended the life of the only person that could give little information about him, the person he was speaking with, and their hidden agenda. He brought the sword back from the corner he stabbed. That was when he realized it was a cat he struck.
The rider left the place with his accomplice and didn't wait more than ten minutes before riding out of the city. He disappeared into thin air fast. It was like he never came.
The rider killed Asher's cat, but Asher could not scream out of fear for his own life because the rider won't hesitate to eliminate him once he realized that it wasn't the cat that was intruding but him. So, he kept quiet and wept inside.
At dawn, it was a high drama in the city. The gatekeeper told the king the rider demanded the location of a lady he knows nothing about before he gave up the ghost. That wasn't the scariest part of it. The shocking thing about the situation was that not even a single guard saw the rider move in. He was invisible to them but visible to the gatekeeper. The gatekeeper's voice was also not heard all through the night when the event took place.
Nabar came to the scene and tried asking questions too, but it was too late because the gatekeeper already died before he got there. Not a single damage was done to the gate. It wasn't opened, yet the rider came in through it without obstruction and even murdered the keeper.
The question everyone can't stop asking now is, "who is the lady? what was the rider looking for in the city?"
In the white tower exists so many tunnels, caves, and rooms. It is easier to get missing in it than in the real world. It is what some people would call a fortress. It is a place that exists only in the imagination of several people.
In the heart of the little boy Aryan, he is beginning to wonder if this is just an adventure or a journey that might change his entire life without a sign of him getting back to a healthy life.
From a window, a bright ray of sunlight revealed a figure standing alone wearing a white robe. It was a little girl whose beauty could be compared to that of an angel. Her eyeballs glow like crystals. She kept looking at Aryan and every other person as they walked with queen Reene and Lord Carvalla.
"So, it is true. She has come," said Nacca, the wizard who has a better understanding of the situation than any of those following him. "what is true?" Zarius asked out of curiosity.
"What was destroyed was remade, hope was rekindled in the dark where no one could see it. Now it is shining bright in the sun, and the world is about to behold it." The words of Nacca brought more confusion rather than answering the question Zarius was asking. However, elder Kabuza understands what he was saying.
Aryan suddenly gripped the armor of Zarius out of fear. He pointed towards the direction the little girl was standing so they could all behold what he was seeing. "No way, how can this be?" even Zarius could not comprehend it.
"Fear not ye mortals; there is more to come that is far beyond your knowledge."
Amidst the confusion, Asher knew someone in the town understands why the dark rider came and what the mysterious rider wants in the city. However, telling people what you saw sometimes isn't the best decision for a wise man except for fools who wish for their voices to be quickly heard without thinking of possible consequences.
Asher kept to himself everything as he observed the whole place in search of something that could help him recognize the creature that is currently a mystery to everyone in the city. When it seems like there won't be any, he found a crest that slowly disappeared into the earth but not before he could store it in his holographic memory.
Everyone left to stay safe indoor while they look for a solution. The king summoned the armies and ordered them to increase the city's security because it is becoming too dangerous, and the people are beginning to worry. Asher went back home to his library, intending to find out more information about what he saw.
He flipped through pages of books for hours. It was like there won't be an answer until the evening when he found the text of the dark lords. The crest belongs to the cult of the dark brothers known as the dark lords. They once existed as good humans who became corrupted long ago by an evil that took over the earth before an allied army was formed to fight and restore order with the help of the Lilithians.
They possess power far beyond mortal armies. Their weapons are also mighty that only a few could survive an attack from it. Asher couldn't tell anyone about his discovery except Nacca, who is currently not in town, so he decided to continue gathering information about the rider's informant.
"You must be surprised she is still alive because you all witnessed what happened to her." shock gripped Zarius as he could identify the person Aryan just saw as Lilian, the one who was raped and killed by some creature that no one is yet to identify.
She is the same woman the rider has come to seek because they already know she still breathes, and her existence is a serious threat to them and their kingdom because, through her, all their agendas would be destroyed.
"The night the incident took place, I was there not far from the streets." Nacca began to narrate the story of what truly happened. "I saw the evil that was about to happen, so I decided to wait in the shadows where it would take place. When she left the one she was walking with, I created a new version of her and took her away far from the borders of the land to this place."
Nacca told them that the one who was raped and killed was a pig he transformed to have Lilian's look because it was essential to make it seem she was dead. He told them he did it to buy more time before Tobi, the leader of the dark lords and the commander of the evil armies, both living and dead, finds out about her escape. "I am afraid he's already aware she still breathes, and the child is born already," Queen Reene told them all.
"You all can get some rest while we have some word with Nacca." Zarius went with Aryan into a room, prepared for them to rest, but Aryan wanted to talk, so he came back outside after some minute to search for the little girl.
Elder Kabuza made his way to his own room with his head filled with thoughts.
In the chamber of secret, lord Carvalla and Queen Reene began having a serious conversation about what has come, what is yet to come, and the solution.
