In the dead of night, darkness crept upon the land. The sound of the sacred bell was heard far away in the hall of the elders. Something is going on, which is beyond the comprehension of mere mortals. Only those bestowed with wisdom from above can understand. A prophecy has been given for the first time in three years.
The handwriting was visible on the wall; all the elders have gathered in the hall of revelation. Back in the city, some slept without knowing what was happening, while others kept wondering what would be the outcome of the sound they heard.
The old ones understood it’s a prophesy because they’ve heard the same sound in the past, but they have no understanding of what is about to happen. They only wait for it to manifest itself. The hunters stood still. All animals, including the beasts in the forest and the fishes in the ocean, maintained peace.
The king sat on the throne all night. Neither sleep nor hunger manifested in him at that hour.
Inside the hall of revelation, all elders were dressed in their white garments. They all stood around the table without uttering a word. They waited silently for the words of the seer who stood in one position staring at the handwriting on the wall.
Back in the palace, the queen and the queen mother lay down, hoping for great positive news about the kingdom.
The seer was done reading meaning to the signs. The prophecy was ready. He told them to ensure everywhere is sealed before he starts sharing it because it is more significant than all they have ever received.
The seer was ready to reveal what he saw, so he asked everyone to sit down and listen carefully to what he has to say. He started by warning them that the words should never go out of the kingdom, and only the royal household should hear about it.
The seer told them about a child that would be born. She will be a child with powers to navigate smoothly between the physical and supernatural realms. She would end terrorisms from the rulers of darkness. She would defeat them to change the story of her kingdom.
Grave silence filled the whole room as the voice of the seer came to a complete stop. Everyone was curious, but no one said anything about it. Their concern grew high until someone broke the silence. “Whose family would be honored to have this great warrior?”
The seer never gave a straight answer but a riddle which no one could easily decode “Out of the mud came everyone, the difference is not where we find ourselves but what we make from ourselves.”
Suddenly there was a tiny sound coming from a dark corner, somewhere underneath the hall. Something lurks in the dark that no one could see, a third party was there all through the time the prophecy was given. The guards of the temple were summoned immediately. Zarius, who was gifted with abilities to see through things and walk through walls without hindrance, took the lead in searching for the intruder. The sound continued as whatever was there already knew the guards were coming and want to escape.
This isn’t human said Zarius after staring at the direction of the sound. They kept chasing after the intruder until suddenly Zarius said with a loud voice, “Unbelievable.”
All the elders await the return of the guards. They hope for nothing less than the head of the intruder.
It means a lot to them because the fate of the people would be determined by it.
Tension began to grow just as the expectations of the Elders.
In the dark tunnels, everyone seems eager to hear what Zarius was seeing.
It must be something terrible, dangerous, and unexpected else he wouldn’t have given such expression.
They kept on chasing, as Zarius mentioned, “Boraky.”
At that moment, everyone realized the situation is a terrible one with little chance of apprehending the intruder.
Boraky is a demonic spy who has lived over the ages of so many people. The generation of those who knew about his birth is no more.
Several generations have passed, but the spy “Boraky” remains without any sign of dying soon.
He belongs to the world of the immortals.
Only a few wizards know how to tame and make him forget whatever he hears, and none seems to be around at this moment.
The guards only seek to capture him before he could get to the passage of the other world.
The chance grew slimmer as he moves closer to the portal.
The situation was terrible, but Zarius has a special weapon that could immobilize him, so he tried using it as fast as he could.
Right before he could get to the portal, he threw the magical chains as a light flashes towards them, which is a symbol of someone passing into the world of the immortals.
“Did we get him?” this was the question that took priority, but no one could answer until the light finally disappears.
They would see it all for themselves.
They would know the result.
They would know the fate of everyone.
“In one piece just as usual. I bet I am lucky this time like never.” Boraky walked straight into the gate of his master’s kingdom.
He heads for the palace to give a report of his journey and announce to him the reality he just discovered.
At this moment, something that should never be known made its way to the kingdom of darkness, and it would obviously bring great terror to the people of the kingdom of Hashmaim.
This is a sign of war to come, but when and where it would take place is something beyond everyone’s knowledge. Neither the people of Hashmaim nor Kazar, the ruler of darkness, the enemy of the lovely people of the earth, knows when it would be.
It was the first time in history that Zarius would be returning without bringing back his prisoner; all he has with him was the chain he tried to use to immobilize Boraky, the evil spy.
The entire elders were in grave concern regarding what could happen next with the information Boraky took away.
Will it be their doom, or will it pass without evil coming to them? No one could tell.
At dawn, when the morning breeze fills every home with great freshness and energy, the elders sent a messenger to the king to tell him about the prophecy but never to mention the mischief that accompanied it.
They believe it would be best to prevent everyone from panicking than to let them know the scary reality, which might come to them soon enough before they realize it.
The truth was revealed, yet another truth was hidden.
There was joy in the king’s palace. No one knew there would be any aftermath, not the king, not the royal family, not even the commoners.
On the streets of Salizer, there were lots of parties all around. People were dancing and rejoicing as a way of life. Sorcery is practiced at a different level in the kingdom.
The whole city was flaming like an abandoned land, yet no one seems to bother. Not the hookers on the street, not anyone because they are accustomed to it. Boraky walked straight into the king’s palace without obstruction. He was no different from a victorious hero.
Everyone in the kingdom knew him for his ability always to steal information for the king. They knew he had gotten another valuable information for him again this time.
Kazar welcomed him as a master would welcome a loyal servant. He was given the privilege to have dinner with him on the same table as he narrates his story and tells the king about the danger which might befall him soon if he fails to do something about it.
Kazar knew there would be a need for urgent action, and failure to carry out such would lead to a great disaster, so he gathered each of his advisors to deliberate on what to do to prevent their kingdom from falling.
It was a long discussion between Kazar and his people. They spent hours before they could reach a conclusion.
They knew the people of Hashmaim are not fools, and they would never let down their guards after such a disaster.
Over a month, there was nothing from Kazar, the elders and the people of Hashmaim are beginning to gain confidence.
Some even believed Boraky didn’t make it back home. This kept on becoming more real every day. Some people forgot the prophecy since they all have peace in Hashmaim.
