Bammy is a lovely little girl that lives downtown with her family and dog (Tessy). Her parents love her very much. Most of the time, she is very obedient and rarely disrespect anyone. She always tries to follow all her parents’ instructions and meticulous in doing nothing without first informing them.

Bammy enjoys playing fetch games with Tessy. So, whenever she is done with all the house chores and assignments, she goes to the garden to play with the neighborhood children. Everybody loves playing with Bammy and Tessy. Sometimes they make Tessy chase them all around the garden till they are too tired to run. Then they would roll on the floor and laugh at each other.

One day they were out playing ball in the garden. It was a fantastic moment. Tessy, a brave dog, always stood to watch them and prevent anybody from harassing them and also runs around to catch the ball. The game was filled with fun and laughter until Caroline kicked the ball over to another compound. The neglected house of an older woman.

They became sad and a little scared, wanted the ball back because there was no other ball to play with, so they came together to plan how to get it back.

“One of us needs to jump over the fence and get the ball,” James brought the idea since no one was watching.

“it would be better to try pulling the ball closer to make it easier to pick it when James jumps into the compound,” Riana Suggested.

Tessy went close to the fence and barked. Although James was still willing to jump over, Bammy refused and said:

“No matter what the reason is, it is not right to break into anyone’s property without their permission.” They were all surprised at her decision.

“My dad said only thieves break into people’s compound, and since we are not thieves, we have to wait for the occupants to come back.” She noted resolutely.

“But I heard it’s a bad lady that lives in this house. Look at her yard, so neglected,” Caroline noted.

“We cannot misbehave because of rumors or judge people just by the look of their neglected yard,” Bammy replied.

“We can play fetch with Tessy while we wait.” Bammy Suggested, and They all agreed and played the game happily.

Half an hour later, the old lady was moving slowly on the path towards the house with two heavy baskets in her hands. The children rushed to her and told her their ball fell into her compound. She asked why they didn’t jump in to get it. They told her it’s not right to enter people’s houses without their permission.

The woman was so happy with them.

“You can come in and take the ball. You have my permission,” said the old lady.

She took out some apple from the basket and gave it to the good kids.

Bammy took her friends aside and asked them if they would like to offer to clean the lady’s yard, and everyone agreed. So, they offered the old woman help cleaning the yard and also carrying the baskets. She was delighted with their offer.

Surprisingly while cleaning the woman’s yard, there were various good toys, including another forgotten ball that was laid in one corner.

The old woman offered them to play with them whenever they want. That was her way of rewarding them for their excellent behavior.
